Spend your day wandering the Norfolk Coastal Path at the bottom of our garden, playing on the golden sands of Brancaster Beach just down the road, or exploring the far-stretching beach and pine woods at Holkham. After a refreshing dip in the sea or a breezy walk with the dog, return to us to warm up with a hearty lunch, toast your adventures with a pint of Brancaster Brewery ale on our terrace overlooking the tidal marsh, or indulge in a seafood platter that showcases the very best of the coast.
A great way to explore the coastline is by hopping on The Coastliner 36, which stops right outside The White Horse. This hop-on, hop-off bus runs from King’s Lynn to Wells-next-the-Sea, where it connects with the CoastHopper service that continues to Cromer every hour, seven days a week. See the timetable here.

Meet our General Manager – Rob Williamson
Most of you will already know Rob, as his passion is to get to know his guests, and if you haven’t met him yet, you are in for a treat! He’s North Norfolk born and bred, is a real family man, knows every square inch of his beloved North Norfolk, and has been General Manager at The White Horse for 9 years.
His energy abounds, and he thrives on looking after his guests and his brilliant team of staff, who are included in all aspects of running the business. He is hugely passionate about North Norfolk, The White Horse, and good old-fashioned hospitality, focusing on the things that matter, such as a warm welcome and genuine conversations. He has a great gift for thinking outside the box to make his guests happy.
The face behind the social channels, he uses this medium to showcase the many things The White Horse and North Norfolk have to offer. Nothing pleases him more than the response he gets from guests on his posts.
